Copper cathode imports accelerate decline in May

SHANGHAI, Jun 26 (SMM) – China imported some 243,056 mt of copper cathode in May, down 29.2% on the year, a faster decline from a year-over-year drop of 9.3% in April, showed the latest data from China customs on Wednesday June 26. On a monthly basis, imports decreased by 15% in May after they gained 2.3% in April.
